Viola walked down the street of Creston, heading back towards DeKalb. She could have drove, or gotten a ride from any number of people...but after all of that...she needed to be out in the air.
Adrian and his cronies were bad for the city. They were bad for the stablitiy they needed. Viola tried to remember who had controlled them before and came up blank. It was like when she tried to think to hard about her durance. Bits and pieces but a lot of blank space.
She was feeling very conflicted. She wanted to be alone. She wanted to not be alone. Sighing, she let herself join the air.
She reappeared near Kishwaulkee hospital. She had been stupid and had let her emotions take the better of her. Keeping the Changeling Population safe was important to her, and both Sam and Adrian were part of that. And yet, they were the reason the city wasn't stable. Adrian would do anything to be Summer King, Glit and the others were fighting over Spring King, Autumn had two Kings because Sam wouldn't back down.
She shook her head. They had similar problems in Moscow. The Mob was still really big there, and too many Lost had wound up working for them. The Mob wanted power everywhere...but even there they wouldn't risk the stablity of the Freehold.
Despite the attacks in August, too many people didn't seem worried enough about attracting their attention...again.
The bad parts would eventually have to be excised. Keeping the Lost safe was more important then own power and glory. Jack wouldn't make a great Summer King, but she also secretly doubted he'd be able to control Adrian. She couldn't control him, even if she beat the crap out of him, Adrian wouldn't respect her.
Approaching her brother's room, Viola shook her head. This was larger then the Summer Court, and eventually, no matter what Tapp thought, the whole freehold might have to intervene.
